The software is designed to be used with the full, purchased version of Microsoft's Minecraft Pocket Edition and will not work on the trial download. Mods for Minecraft PE comes equipped with a convenient mod browser that allows the user to see screenshots of mods and learn more about them before making a choice for installation.

The software is a product of Tom Bailey and is currently on its seventh major update. It requires Android operating system version 2.1 or greater to work and only supports the English language. The download is approximately 4.39 megabytes.
