TrackR is software for finding lost items. It's designed to be used with special hardware than can be attached to frequently misplaced things, such as a cellphone, car keys or a favorite toy. Once the app is installed and the TrackR dongle is attached and turned on, the mobile device and the TrackR dongle can communicate. Using the app, the user can locate the dongle via emitted audio. In addition, it can be used in reverse. If the phone is lost, the user can press a button on the dongle to make the phone ring and appear on a GPS map.

The software is a product of TrackR Inc. It supports five languages: English, Russian, German, French and Spanish. The download is slightly above average for apps of this type, coming in at 8.3 megabytes. The app is completely free to install and use, though the compatible hardware must be purchased.
