Upload characters and teach them to boogie!

Named after anime character Hatsune Miku, MikuMikuDance is a title with a devoted following that was initially published in 2008. Known by its fans as MMD, this richly featured app lets users create and upload animated characters and program them to dance.

Users can upload any audio file to MMD and dictate their character's synchronized dance moves. This app allows the user to control the movement of each of a character's joints. The joints can move in unison or asymmetrically, and they are controlled by micro-adjustable sliders.

Most of the characters that users have uploaded to this app are drawn in anime styles, but the software accepts other styles.

MikuMikuDance runs on tablets and smartphones that use Android 4.2 or better.
